Innovation and outreach: from a live demonstration of digital enrolment at the Bertoua Municipal Employment Office (BEM) to immersive remote-training sessions at the Vocational Training Centre (CFM), the Ministry took a decisive step in bringing opportunity closer to every young person, wherever they are.
National preference and skills transfer: the direction is clear - promote local labour. The Minister reminded the SONECOM company of its ethical and regulatory obligation to transfer skills to Cameroonian nationals, and praised the exemplary example set by the SPAR supermarket, where 63 of its 66 employees are Cameroonian - a genuine springboard for apprentices in the region.
