Our commitment
The Ministry of Employment and Vocational Training is committed to making this site usable by as many people as possible, following the international WCAG 2.1 level AA guidelines.
Measures in place
- A “Skip to main content” link at the top of every page.
- Navigation that works entirely from the keyboard, with a visible focus indicator.
- Colour contrast meeting the 4.5:1 threshold for body text.
- A hierarchical heading structure and ARIA landmarks on the main regions of each page.
- Text alternatives for images that carry information.
- Support for the system “reduced motion” setting.
- A responsive layout that remains legible on a phone and in print.
- A bilingual French / English site, with the language declared in the markup of every page.
Known limitations
Some documents available for download are PDF reproductions of official texts whose original version was not produced in an accessible format. An alternative version may be requested from the Ministry's services.
